Tema: PEZ

Convocatoria: PEZ

AFABW 2010 “Call For Mail Art”

Hollywood: Artists For A Better World International is calling upon global artists to send their mail art to AFABW by July 13, 2010.  This mail art campaign honors artists as well as the establishment of an international holiday for the arts, referred to as “ART DAY,” which is celebrated on the second Friday in each August.  (This year’s 12th annual Art Day falls on August 13, 2010). “Mail Art” includes hand-decorated postcards, cards and/or envelopes that are sent through global postal services.
What does Mail Art look like? As the artist, you decide. Mail Art is essentially art using the postal service as the medium.
Founder of the Art Day holiday, Becky Mate says “Mail Art can be sent to anyone, and is all about opening your mail and finding a postcard from an artist. It is friendly, compact, instant joy.” Additionally, she encourages all to send their mail art to AFABW by July 13, 2010.

Postmarked 2010 6th Annual International Mail Art Exhibition and Silent Auction Fundraiser

Requesting your original mail art for display and sale to raise funds for The Claremont Forum's Prison Library Project, which sends thousands of books free to inmates throughout the country. Hundreds of volunteers package books (donated to the Project by our local community), which are then mailed in response to inmate letters requesting reading material while incarcerated. For many years, The Claremont Forum received these requests in hand-illustrated envelopes created by the prisoners who sent them. It is in this tradition that we present POSTMARKED as our very appropriate fundraiser. Please join us for this international event!
Please send submissions of mail art of any size and medium to:

And Now he must try to be free. Or anymore. There is an army in weapons to attend the individual that completes this choice. India and its Contrasts

Ryosuke Cohen,s Bullettin Board / Orion Soup

When we encounter well-designed cars and buildings, we are impressed by them, and do really admire the talent of their designers and architects. I sometimes devise logotypes and visual poetry, and when completed, I feel satisfied with it. However, now I would like to think of much more principle theme together with artists : space, atoms and others. This is the reason I opened a bulletin board. All the people have the right to discuss the beginning and the end of the space. Don't hesitate to put your idea on it about my bulletin board. My idea on the Big Bang and Prime Numbers is as follows.
