Las obras no serán objeto de ninguna transacción comercial, pero podrán ser reproducidas por las entidades organizadoras con finalidad divulgativa y utilizadas en propuestas educativas, así como en la elaboración de reproducciones impresas con la finalidad de organizar exposiciones presenciales.
- La convocatoria no es competitiva, no hay jurado ni premios. No habrá selección previa de obras excepto en aquellos casos en que las obras promovieran valores contrarios a los que inspiran la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos.
- La participación en la convocatoria supone la plena aceptación de estas bases.

JUSTIFICACIÓN DE LA CONVOCATORIA:
"Toda persona tiene derecho a la educación. (...) La educación tendrá por objeto el pleno desarrollo de la personalidad humana y el fortalecimiento del respeto a los derechos humanos y a las libertades fundamentales (...)".
Artículo 26 de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos.
1- La UNESCO afirma que "El derecho a la educación (...) puede considerarse como un derecho clave, ya que permite el completo ejercicio y disfrute de todos los otros derechos humanos. Todos los derechos civiles, culturales, económicos, sociales y políticos pueden disfrutarse de mejor manera si las personas han recibido una educación mínima. La efectiva implementación del derecho a la educación es por tanto un requisito previo para la democratización y para la total participación de todos los ciudadanos en todas las esferas de la vida."
2- Amnistía Internacional trabaja para que todas las personas puedan disfrutar de todos los derechos humanos consagrados en la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos. Uno de estos derechos, en gran medida la llave de los demás derechos, es el derecho a la educación, tal como afirma la UNESCO.
3- Para conseguir estos objetivos, hay una herramienta imprescindible: la educación en derechos humanos. El propósito de la educación en derechos humanos es conseguir que las personas entiendan lo que son los derechos humanos, perciban su importancia y asuman que se deben respetar y defender.
4- Con motivo del 60 aniversario de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos (2008), las Naciones Unidas aprobaron la celebración el 2009 del Año Internacional del Aprendizaje sobre los Derechos Humanos. En la resolución de aprobación se exhortaba "a los Estados Miembros a que, durante todo ese año y en los años sucesivos, intensifiquen sus esfuerzos para promover el aprendizaje y la educación sobre los derechos humanos".
5- El lanzamiento de la convocatoria pretende recordar tanto el mensaje de la UNESCO relativo a la importancia fundamental del derecho a la educación como la iniciativa de las Naciones Unidas de poner en el punto de mira la importancia de la educación en derechos humanos.

Mail Me Art
Mail Me Art is a British-based project, run by Darren Di Lieto. Over the course of a year, the first Mail Me Art project brought together a vast collection of artistic work sent in the form of mail by both professional and amateur artists of all ages from across the world.
Mail Me Art culminated in the publication of the book Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers and the exhibition, held in London during April 2009.

CONVOCATORIA DE MAIL ART: ARTE Y TRASTORNO MENTAL
La Asociación Cultural y de investigación psicosocial PSICOTREX es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro que tiene entre sus objetivos la promoción de las artes como forma de integración de los diferentes colectivos con riesgo de exclusión social.
En esta ocasión, nuestro colectivo, compuesto esencialmente por psicólogos y artistas multidisciplinares, pretende incidir e investigar sobre la relación existente entre el arte y el trastorno mental. Pensamos que la creación artística es una herramienta muy valiosa para mejorar nuestra calidad de vida, establecer sistemas de comunicación alternativos y facilitar el equilibrio anímico. Es por ello que como asociación pretendemos investigar en estas materias y pedimos la colaboración de todos aquellos creadores que se sientan identificados con esta propuesta, Así como de instituciones, entidades y centros que trabajen en este campo con el fin de lograr un fondo artístico y documental que pueda ser materia de trabajo y servir de base a futuras investigaciones.

mail art and fluxus have been closely connected for over 40 years. as a celebration and exploration of the continuing vitality of both practices we are planning a mail art exhibit entitled FLUXUS NOW!. please send visual poems, soundworks, fluxus boxes, event scores, objects, images, books, booklets, TLPs, broadsides, manifestos, videos, and any other fluxus materials you find and/or create. critiques of this proposal are also welcome and will be included in the exhibit.

The Wendell Free Library invites you to send a postcard size art work for our mail art exhibit, GREEN SEEN. Green – sustainability, conservation, freecycle, the color….. All techniques and media welcome. Participants’ mail art works will be displayed as soon as they are received at the library. Mail art will be documented at the library website and contributors will receive a printed documentation. Ongoing exhibit will end in June and works will become part of the permanent collection at the Wendell Free Library.

Certificate will be send to all participants from MMAF to acknowledge your mail art/s is in our permanent collection. Artworks will not be returned and become the collection of MMAF (Malaysia Mail Art Festival).

The Local Authority of Nyíracsád, Dózsa György Cultural Centre and the Tour inform Office are calling for an application to create Mail-Art (postal –art) works of arts.

We won’t send back the works, they will be in the ownership of the Local Authority of Nyíracsád, and they will be exhibited in the Mill Gallery.
We are planning to continue this application every second year with different topics.
We are also planning to open a Mail Art Gallery in Nyíracsád and exhibit the collection there.
It would be advisable to start posting any “Mail Art” contributions from the beginning of December so they don’t get accumulated at the post office just before the deadline.

Be part of a massive exhibition of self portraits at Art House from artists all around the globe! All you need to do is sign up to get started. Create an 8x10 inch drawing, photo, collage, or anything that represents you. Send it back to us and we will cover our gallery walls with all of the portraits. We're not sure what the actual record is, but we think it will be one of the largest portrait exhibitions ever! After the exhibition we will create a book of all the self portraits! Everyone who participates will be in the show and the book!

En 2010 se conmemoran cincuenta años de aquella acción de arte denominada por su creador YVES KLEIN, ¨SALTO AL VACIO¨ (noviembre de 1960) que con el paso del tiempo se transformó en referencial, en lo que se refiere a una nueva estrategia en la difusión del quehacer creativo.
La reinterpretación a 50 años de esta acción proporciona el tema que nos convoca.

E-MAIL ART PASS & PASS / UNESCO
Este proyecto de E-MAIL ART PASS & PASS ha sido realizado por el artista Edwin Velázquez en apoyo a la gestión de exigir nuestra soberanía cultural a la UNESCO. Ha sido enviado el domingo 6 de diciembre de 2009 a sobre 800 artistas plásticos y instituciones del panorama del las artes plásticas puertorriqueñas, 100 medios de comunicación (revistas, periódicos, televisión, radio) de Puerto Rico y mas de 100 artistas de Mail Art, revistas, blogs de arte e instituciones culturales internacionales.
